Macedonia: VISION

PROVERBS 29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law happy is he."

vision2

V
ision is a place. Vision is the pursuit of the future, funded by the WORD of GOD, whereby faith comes from, to accomplish GOD given and GOD instructed endeavors, whereby the kingdom of GOD is promoted and impacted to grow. Fellow brother and sister in the Lord do you know where you are going or have you followed someone or something that has no certain destination or goal? The word perish there in the verse means naked, shows lack of restraint or the people let go and let loose.

My greatest fear is to have a church that is rich and increased with goods, plenty of provision and no vision as the church of the Laodicean  the state of there condition was lukewarm! Vision is a state. (ecstatic state) Ecstatic can mean intoxicated or elevated,  reminding me of Hannah in the bible who was accused of intoxication as well as the early church accused of the same. Hannah was granted her petition and the early church granted a prophetic fulfillment.

When God divinely communicates with us divine revelation comes impregnates us with vision and then we can become like Paul expressed, I am made all things to all men that I by all means save some and he told King Agrippa I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision!!!! If  you lack vision find it, if your church lacks vision find it GOD IS LOOKING FOR SOME VISIONIST!!!!

Conference Missionary efforts in Trinidad

tdad_2_300The week of September, 26 through October, 1 2010 was a very exciting time for the Lumber River Conference of the Holiness Methodist Church and for the Macedonia congregation in particular. For this was a week of revival shared with our Conference Missionary efforts in Trinidad and Tobago. We were pleased to hear of the great work that is taking place within the school there and their churches missionary works going on in Guyana, South America. The nightly services led by brother Nirane were uplifting and informative helping us to “Focus” on the task before us. Pastor Robin Hammonds would especially like to express the churches appreciation to all who came and participated in the services each night. A very special thank you goes out to all of those who help provide lodging and food for brother Nirane during his time with us.tdad_1_300

We the members of the Conference would like to thank the Reverend Hammonds, the Reverend Marvin Locklear, Conference Missionary and all of their fine folks for hosting such a great event and allowing the rest of the Conference to be a part of it. We would like to thank all of the churches and individuals who gave so generously to the mission projects in Trinidad this year. It is our understanding that some of our churches did not get the opportunity to give to this most worthwhile endeavor if you were not able to give at this time or missed the opportunity we invite you to continue to pray for brother Nirane and the church and invite you to feel free to contact Reverend Hammonds, the Reverend Locklear or the Conference about how you can become involved in this project.
