Greetings from Bishop Willie Scott, Jr
Greetings,
I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to once again serve as the Presiding Bishop of the Lumber River Holiness Methodist Conference. As a body of believers we would like to thank the Reverend James Harold Woods for his willingness and faithfulness to serve the Lumber River Conference as Bishop in an untiring and devoted manner. Our prayer is that God will continue His blessings upon Bishop Woods, allowing him many more years of Kingdom work.
As Bishop, I am looking forward to our working together with one goal in mind, and that is for our Lord. Let us be eager to serve the One who gives endurance and encouragement, asking for a spirit of unity among the Conference as followers of Christ.
God...saved us and called us to a holy life. 2 Timothy 1:8-9
Let us serve with eagerness, relying on the Lord and placing our acts of service into His hands. The smallest jobs demand the biggest hearts coming together is the beginning; keeping together is progress and working together is success. Remember, with love in our hearts, we will always have something to give and with team work, the Lumber River Conference can be recognized as a Beacon in our surrounding communities.
I am looking forward to our Kingdom work together.
Your friend in Christ,
Willie Scott, Jr.
Bishop
